SubScript has up to now been developed as a private project, without external funding. This had several advantages:

• small financial means kept the project simple
• the designer of SubScript participated in real world software projects for a living, encountering real world problems
• as a driving force, passion often works better than money.

At this time (end 2012) the ideas for SubScript have been crystallized fairly completely. The development work would now benefit from external funding. Therefore we are looking for sponsors from companies with an interest in programming language technology. Parties can contact us here.
